About
smspostam is operated by PostAm Swift Networks Ltd, a Nigerian company. We're a small team building infrastructure we wish we'd had when we were running SMS for businesses ourselves. This page explains what we thought was wrong with the market, what we're doing differently, and what exists today versus what we still have to build.
The problem
The SMS tools available to Nigerian businesses mostly solve the narrow problem of "move a text message from A to B." They don't solve the surrounding operator problems — the ones that actually waste your week.
Confusing pricing
Rates buried in PDFs, inconsistent fees depending on the segment count, and no way to estimate a campaign before sending.
Unreliable sender IDs
Requests submitted via support tickets. Status tracked in email threads. Rejection reasons relayed third-hand or not at all.
Unclear delivery
A single percentage dashboard, no per-recipient breakdown, no failure reasons. A customer complaint and nowhere to look.
Fake promises
"99.9% delivery" on landing pages with no supporting detail. "Instant delivery" without a definition of instant.
Poor wallet history
Top-ups and spends in separate views that don't reconcile. Silent debits. No downloadable invoice for accounting.
Too many provider accounts
Customers end up juggling an account with the SMS reseller, another with the underlying aggregator, and a third for sender-ID admin.
Why we built smspostam
Before this, we spent a lot of time helping operators — schools, estates, logistics companies, clinics — wrangle SMS as part of their day-to-day. None of them had SMS as their primary product. All of them needed it to work. And yet almost everyone was paying too much for too little visibility.
We wanted something simpler:
None of that is a new idea. It's the baseline for a serious B2B product in any other category. We decided someone should bring it to Nigerian SMS.
What makes it different
One workspace, one wallet, one login. We run the provider relationships on our side. You stay focused on your business.
Submit once, see the carrier's decision end-to-end. Rejection reasons surfaced in your dashboard, not in a support email.
Append-only ledger. Per-recipient delivery outcomes with failure reasons. Nothing aggregated, nothing silently charged.

Roadmap
In build or queued. We'll announce each one as it ships, not before.
Most of the above already exists in the product today — sender ID submission and tracking, the append-only wallet, per-recipient delivery reports, DND-aware routing. You can evaluate the parts that matter to you before committing anything beyond a ₦1,000 top-up.
Create a workspace, request a sender ID, and fund a small wallet. You'll have a concrete sense of whether this is the SMS infrastructure you've been wanting in under an hour.
